Are you ready for the EU AI Act?
A ten-minute, honest read on how ready you are as a deployer, an organisation that uses AI, rather than one that builds and sells it. Results straight away, no email needed to see them.
Where things stand: AI literacy is already a legal duty (Article 4, since February 2025) and outright-banned practices are prohibited now (Article 5). Transparency duties (Article 50) apply from 2 August 2026. Under the EU’s Digital Omnibus (agreed in 2026, pending formal adoption), the core high-risk deployer duties, responsible use (Article 26) and fundamental-rights impact assessments (Article 27), are deferred to 2 December 2027. It reaches beyond the EU: if your AI’s outputs affect people in the EU, you’re likely in scope. Penalties reach €35M or 7% of global turnover.
